Access the Hôtel de Paris in the town center of La Rochelle

• If you arrive by plane ( La Rochelle-Laleu airport) :
- Bus no1 to Place de Verdun ( Hôtel is located at less than 200 meters away).

• If you arrive by train (SNCF): Many trains lines offer a direct service to La Rochelle.
- Paris (train station Montparnasse) to La Rochelle (TGV around 3 hours),
- Bordeaux to La Rochelle.

Near the train station, bus no7 to Place de Verdun.

• If you arrive by car (coming from Paris) :
- Autoroute A10/E05 (direction Bordeaux)
- Exit n°33 (take direction La Rochele/Rochefort), then  E05( Direction La Rochelle),
- When your arrive at La Rochelle, follow the signs to Place de Verdun (town center).

• If you arrive by car (coming from Bordeaux) :
- Autoroute A10/E05 (Direction Paris),
- Follow A837
- E602 (Direction Rochefort-La Rochelle),
- On arrival in La Rochelle, follow directions to Place de Verdun (Town Center).

The parking lot of Place de Verdun, is located approximately 100 meters from the hotel and can accomodate 600 vehicles.

To reach the hotel: go down  Rue Gagoulleau (leading to Place du Marche), you will immediately feel the atmosphere of the old town. The hotel is located on the left of the gardens of the Musee du Nouveau Monde.

Every morning on the square there is a local market selling a variety of fresh local produce. Take your time to stop and have a coffee in one of the little coffee shops surrounding the market square and enjoy the local atmosphere of the historic market halls.

The hotel situated right in the heart of the old town, with easy access to all the sites not to missed in La Rochelle. For those interested in the local architecture, a bike trail allows you to discover all the places of interest in the town center (local yellow bikes are available for rent at Place de Verdun approx. 100 meters from the hotel.
